I love finding drugstore makeup that can perform up to the standards of my more expensive makeup. These are my all time products from the drugstore.

First is the Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder, this is a holy grail product for me. I am never without it and I have repurchased it so many times.  It is a perfect setting powder for any foundation, and leaves your skin looking matte but not crazy matte.  It is perfect for oily skin, which my t-zone is really oily. It is perfect to keep in your purse for on the go touch ups.

Next is the Physicians Formula Argan Wear Bronzer which I wore religiously all summer.  With my fair skin tone this bronzer to too much for the winter.  But in the summer it is amazing.  It leaves your skin looking perfectly sun kissed and glowing because of the perfect amount of shimmer in it.  I got so many compliments from friends when I was wearing it and have recommended it to all of them.  Everyone I know that went out and bought it has not been disappointed.

Up next is are my two favourite concealers the first is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer which I have loved for a long time.  It's a nice creamy constancy that is does a great job at covering dark spots under the eyes and blemishes.  The other concealer I love which is a new favourite is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles.  This is an under eye concealer that covers up dark spots amazingly.  I have pretty dark bags under my eyes and this so far has been the best product I have found to tackle them.

The next product is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick.  This eyeshadow has an amazing constancy it's very creamy and bendable, but once it sets its not going anywhere.  I love this colour and really need to buy more!

The last but not least is one of my all time favourite drug store products.  It's the Revlon Colour Burst Balm and I love it so much.  I have a lot of different colours in all different formulations and they are just amazing.  They are pigmented, go on nice and creamy and have a good wear time.  This is my favourite colour it's the perfect pink. I think I am going to do a separate blog post with swatches form all the different colour that I own.

What a your all time favourite drugstore products?

Current Top 5 Lipsticks

Bite Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Truffle
MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 10
H&M Cream Lipstick in 010 In A Nutshell
Revlon Color Stay Ultimate Suede in 035 Backstage

These are my current favourite lipsticks that I have been wearing a ton over the past few months.  I have really been into purple and nude shades and obviously a bright red over the holiday season is a must.

The first is a Bite Lip Crayon in a very deep purple which has been a huge trend this season and has gotten me to start trying more adventurous colours.  I love how deep and rich the colour is.  It dries down fairly matte and is pretty drying so I always make sure to put a lip balm under it.

The next is a MAC Matte lipstick and I am obsessed with it.  It is the perfect nude colour for my skin tone and being on the more pale side most nudes tent to wash me out.  I love how it drys matte but still feels creamy on the lips.

Next up is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick which had to be a favourite during Christmas time.  It is a really bright red with a slightly glossy finish.  Its very creamy, but does have the tendency to move around a bit so be careful when eating!

My next favourite has to be the H&M Cream Lipstick.  I was very excited to find out that H&M had come out with a makeup line when I watched Tati's makeup haul with swatches and everything looked very promising.  The lipstick is rich in pigment and feels nice and creamy on the lips. Again its a really nice nude colour for my skin tone which always makes me excited!

Finally my last favourite at the moment is the Revlon Colour Stay lipstick. I love this lipstick because it is a nice darker purple shade but it more sheer and glossy then the Bite Lip Crayon.  I prefer this one on days that I don't want to be to dramatic but still want a deep colour.

What lipsticks have been your favourites this season? Any suggestions on what I should try next?

Hello again,

23:04 0 Comments A+ a-

I started this blog back in February 2014 and was very excited about it.  I only made a few posts and then I just stopped (and I can’t remember why).  I have been thinking of starting it up again for a while now, but things have been really busy.  I thought that as one of my new years resolutions it should be to start blogging again.  This year I have made myself a list of goals, but they are more like a list of ways to improve my overall life and happiness.  That’s where is blog comes into play.  I want to document all my happy moments, events, and anything that contributes to my happiness.

Since I was last here a lot has changed about me.  I am living away from home.  I am in my second year of university studying Global Studies with an option in Social Entrepreneurship.  I have very large dreams of helping women and children around the world, creating equality, eradicating poverty and creating peace.  I love traveling and always find myself dreaming of beautiful far off places.  I love music and love when people suggest new artists I’ve never heard of.  I love food and also love to cook, but I’m not much of a baker.  I am also obsessed with fashion, makeup, and anything beauty related.  Most of all my friends and family are my everything and I know I could not survive with out them.

I am very excited to be back and I love making new friends so please leave comments and I would to chat!
